Instructed by Tsavliris Salvage as Salvage Consultant/Salvage Master for the grounding of the M/V CARAVOS LIBERTY. The 63,500 dwt bulk carrier grounded on an uncharted reef in the Makassar Straits in Indonesia. The vessel was refloated after cargo lightering and dewatering of the forepeak tank with compressed air. The vessel was delivered to Balikpapan where dive inspections and temporary repairs were conducted. (September 2023)
