Instructed on behalf of owners to respond to the ORE SHANDONG, a 400,440 dwt ore carrier in ballast that was without power and adrift in the Indian Ocean near Mauritius. Reed Maritime provided a Salvage Consultant and a Salvage Engineer to assist with the emergency towing arrangements. (March 2022)
